About me!

Hi! I'm Emily! A fanatic of the color pink (clearly), Rupaul's Drag Race, ice cream, and dance music.

I was raised in a small town on Long Island, New York by queer parents. I am an interdiscplinary artist with a passion for telling stories about young queer women like myself.

 

My favorite kinds of stories are those about small moments where girls explore their identities. I like to push the boundaries of something being either happy or sad, comfortable or uncomfortable.

Pop culture is also very relevant in my work. I enjoy analyzing contemporary girlhood and finding humor in it. I also like making some campy videos as my drag persona, Ella MaFao.
